I've finally joined Flickr and started posting some photos. I know I'm going to spend hours just trawling through other people's photos but it will be great for inspiration.

Dog and Pony

A painting I've been doing for a couple of weeks. It's not that great but it's fun and cute.

My desk is so messy, every time I try to clean it up I just get distracted by stuff that I find. As long as I have room to paint it doesn't really matter for the moment but I know I'm going to start losing stuff soon.

This is the beginning of my second attempt at a vase of flowers...and some lollies called 'saltwater taffy'..didn't like them. And the Romeo and Juliet green tea hearts...in a small bowl with fruit painted on it.

just stuff lately

I will have some photos soon from my birthday desert/cake at Melanie's place. We didn't do it on my birthday at the restaurant as it was very crowded and small so she invited us over and she served gluten free date slice with candles on top which was nice. The pics are on her camera.
Tonite we are going to dinner with friends at a restaurant in Fall Down Lane in the suburb of Carp...Don says don't misspell it and say the other word..ha ha.

Alex's Farewell Dinner

The last night before he left Al and I went into James St and got some yummy food with his 'special' discount and cooked up a feast.
It was really lovely.
It was nice having him stay, he's a great house guest. I don't think we've ever eaten that well!
We opened the bottle of Moet that Ray White gave us. Tom and I had to add lime cordial to ours so it wasn't too dry.

We are pure class.

Good Hair Day

Got a haircut tonight. More came off than I expected but it's a lot thicker and full now.
